After every competition, Premium users get a personalised email summarising how their dogs ran. This page explains what each number means and how we compute it.
What do these stats mean?
- Total runs
- Every run your dog took in classes -A0, A0, A1, A2, A3, Open at this competition. Special runs (finals, cup runs) are not counted.
- Clean runs
- Runs finished with zero faults, zero refusals, and not disqualified - a measure of focused, mistake-free teamwork.
- Average speed
- Course length (m) ÷ run time (s) for each finished run, then averaged across the competition. Reflects your dog's typical pace that day.
- Fastest run
- The run with the highest m/s, not just the lowest time - a short course with a small time isn't necessarily faster than a longer one.
- Best vs SCT
- The largest margin against the Standard Course Time. "2.3s under SCT" means your dog finished 2.3 seconds faster than the standard time. "Over SCT" means time penalty.
- Best placement
- Your top result at the competition within your size group and skill class. "Beat X%" tells you what share of finishers in that group placed below you - higher is better. Hidden when there's nobody to brag about (last place or solo finisher).
- Personal best
- Your dog has never run this fast in this class before. We compare your top m/s today against the best run for this dog in the same class across all competitions in our index.
- Consistency
- Standard deviation of speed (m/s) across finished runs. Lower means a steadier pace. Zero = identical speed every run (impossible in practice but theoretically perfect).
- Pace change
- Speed delta between your dog's first and last finished run of the day. Positive = sped up across the day, negative = slowed.
- Total distance
- Sum of all course lengths your dog finished. Shows how many metres of agility ring your dog actually covered today.
- Gap to winner
- On your fastest run - the time difference between your run and the fastest finished run in your size group.
- Medals (🥇 🥈 🥉)
- Count of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places your dog took in their size group across the competition's runs.
Where do these numbers come from?
Every number comes from the official competition records on the Agility platform - the same data shown on the public results pages. Placements are computed per agility rules (time + penalties). The report is sent after every result has been entered on the final day of the competition.
